I am a documentary filmmaker and photographer with 20+ years of professional experience producing work for a wide variety of clients.

My interest in photography and filmmaking opened up the world to me at an early age, and through a series of fortunate events I found a passion and career in making pictures and telling stories through the visual arts. 

I have spent long hours in darkrooms, shot countless rolls of film, made magazine ads, shot a handful of short films on 16mm film, edited real film with scissors and tape, composited green screen images on-set for some big Hollywood productions, worked with some fancy people, some not so fancy people, and produced hundreds of short documentary films for a wide range of brands both big and small.

I have used some of the most and least expensive equipment. I have travelled the world, shooting off the back of motorbikes and snowmobiles, out of helicopters, dangling from the side of cliffs, and in every space possibly imaginable. 

Ultimately I have survived and thrived as a professional freelance filmmaker and image maker for over 18 years now, and my fascination with the people of the world continues as I spend more and more time behind the lens.
