Okanagan Ramen: Little Tokyo Food Truck

Ramen gets me excited. I'm not sure what it is, but the fact that is trendy all of a sudden has nothing to do with it. In Japan great Ramen is abundant. The fact that we're getting some great Ramen in other parts of the world is good news. It's like the foodie chicken noodle soup for the soul.

In the Okanagan good food of any multi-cultural flair has been hard to come by over the years, so when someone sets up a Ramen Boler trailer you'll have to excuse me if I am in the market for a new kimono.

Little Tokyo has become a farmer's market fixture across the valley appearing at The Naramata Farmer's Market, Penticton Farmer's Market, Summerland Market, and I'm sure around the streets of Kelowna. The noodles are made from scratch, the broth is delicious, and there's something kind of magical about eating Ramen in front of a Boler trailer. That's probably the closest we can get in the Okanagan to eating Ramen at a Yatai cart along the canal in Fukuoka.
